GOTA Takeover
Respect the battlefield.
Airsoft replicas must remain unloaded until you are called to the chrono station or on field. Pistols can have a loaded magazine if they are holstered with safety engaged.
You must wear eye protection on field at all times. Must be ASTM certified(ANSI Z87.1/ASTM F-1776-99 A) NO EXCEPTIONS.
No homemade pyrotechnics whatsoever.
No drugs or alcohol during the event.
“NO DUFF” is called when there is a medical emergency on field. Every player must clear their chamber, unload their weapon and engage the safety. Stay in position, DO NOT wander off. Game staff will resume the game when all is clear.

All Assault, SMG, LMG, Shotgun variants must be under 400fps/1.48 joules at a maximum of 23rps.
DMR class rifles must be semi locked with low-cap magazines. All users must have passed the GOTA Marksman Certification. Marksman rifles must shoot no higher than 1.9 joules(450fps on 0.2g BB) with a 100ft(30m) minimum engagement distance. Must carry a sidearm.
Sniper class users must have GOTA Sniper Certification. Sniper rifles must shoot no higher than 2.3 joules(495fps on 0.2g BB) with a 100ft(30m) minimum engagement distance. Must carry a sidearm.
All replicas must be chronographed. If it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t enter the battlefield.
The game is semi-auto. Only LMG class weapons are allowed full auto.
Drum magazines are allowed on all replicas. No full-auto unless LMG class.
You cannot carry extra ammo for your drum mag. Must reload in CP.
You may carry as many loaded drum mags as you want.
Chalk rounds will need to be inspected and passed by chrono staff. Expect to have 3 samples tested.
No visible lasers allowed. Class 1 IR Lasers (<0.7mw power output) with datasheet and/or manufactured by a reputable manufacturer. List of IR LAMs.
Vehicle/drone rules
No laying in roadways or pathways. Vehicles need clear and safe sight.
No vehicles on field unless approved by game staff. Must have submitted request 2 weeks before event.
All vehicles must have a flashing red kill light.
2 chalk rounds to the front of the vehicle disables. Must return to CP with kill light on.
1 chalk round to the side of the vehicle to disable.
Drones are permitted. Limited use. Must be approved by Commander. Drones can be airborne for 15 minutes then must return to pilot.
NO SHOOTING DRONES!!! This is the law. If you are caught aiming or shooting at drones, you and your squad will be removed from the event.
No dropping items from drones unless approved by game staff prior to event.
Medic rules
Players have 3 states:
Alive No restrictions.
Downed No moving. May talk. Wait for medic. 5 minute bleed out. Kill rag visible.
Dead Player executed or bleed out timer expired. No talking. Walk back to CP. Kill rag visible.
Gun hits do not count. If your gun is shot, simply keep playing.
If you are shot, yell “HIT!”
You are now Downed. Pull out your kill rag and sit down. You have a minimum 5 minute bleed out. Respect the bleed out. It gives the opponent time to search you for intel and your squad time to potentially revive you.
DOWNED PLAYERS CAN TALK. You may give enemy positions while downed. Downed players must lay down once hit. You may be dragged or carried behind cover. You may also use your radio to call for medic.
If you are executed while downed, you are dead. Hand over any Intel or game props and go back to CP.
To be executed the enemy must either knife you while you are downed or say “DRT”. This means Dead Right There. Enemy must be within arm’s reach to say “DRT”.
DEAD PLAYERS DON’T TALK.
Only designated medics can apply your tourniquet. Only medics carry tourniquets.
Once your tourniquet is applied, you are back in the fight.
No bang-bang or mercy rule.
Grenade rules
Taggin AFG-6/AFG-4
No overhand throws. Underhand only.
Anyone within a 10foot radius is downed
Taggin 67/19’s are banned.
If you are caught with one on field, you will be escorted off property.
Sound grenades act only as distraction.
BB expelling grenades are permitted. Must be hit with expelled BB.
Camo rules
You may choose to dress in civilian attire. This is allowed but you will have to wear colored armbands on each arm.
